Can't wait for you to come back - I am looking for a new radio station and if you find a new local station, so will I. You and Kellie are greatly missed!!!

I can't believe you aren't on my radio! Please keep us informed of what's going on with you guys....I will follow you wherever you may go!

Brian--I read the SJ-R article this morning. I must confess, I've been listening to Leach for the last year or so. But he's way too conservative for me, so I've been trying other stations. Not too satisfied yet. So if you and Kellie end up on another station, please let me know. You and I will never agree politically, but you and Kellie are two of the most incredible, compassionate, caring people I've ever had the privilege to know. Keep me posted. You can email me at teddyphreddy@aol.com.

Brian, this really sucks. I will not listen to WNNS or any of their stations until you and Kellie are back. If you move to another station, please let us know.

Missed hearing you yesterday afternoon and this morning. Keep us informed you do a great job for the community.

Maybe it's the mustache. That went out around 1980. Maybe a goatee, lose the comb over and you can get on WDBR. Seriously, good luck to ya.

I knew that something was wrong this a.m. when the alarm went off at 5:45. The news was late, and the Show's format had changed overnight. It seemed chaotic and disorganized, and there was no explanation to the listeners. I guess that we don't matter. Makes me wonder whether the advertisers are equally mistreated. Did they learn of the change by reading the S J-R? I'm turning off WNNS. Please let Springfield know where you go, and I'll tune in there. Goof luck to you both. Bri & Kellie, you'll both be missed!

I like the mustache & comb-over comment the best so far. B & K are blown away at the response. I shaved the 'stash about 3 years ago, and everyone freaked out. All the best everyone. Check here for news.

Brian
I too will follow you guys when (notice I said when) you land at another station.

Brian and Kelly I posted this on the Illinois section of http://www.illinoisairwaves.com

What a shame, that B&K were fired. The post that was posted by Kevin K was real. That’s his attitude about the situation, how sad. I’m hearing Kevin K fired Brian, and Kelly said well if you fire him then I’m gone. Good for you Kelly stand by your man. All this over a blog did we forget the 1st amendment?

Radio sucks as a career. It’s a constant fight with management that doesn’t have the talent to do the (on air) job themselves, but they know oh so well what the show should or shouldn’t sound like or say.

Kellie was the reason the station did so very well over the years. Brian is a champ, great radio talent, and long time friend.

The sad part is (and they both thought it wouldn’t happen to them) radio management with the exception of Tom K changes personal like underwear. It wrecks people’s lives and management never looks back.

MWFB just took another step backwards and now Springfield Radio will sound more and more like the small market it is.

Bri and Kel,

Hang in there...thinking about you. Anything I can do, let me know.

B&K - Hope you are also checking out SJR.com reader comments & know how much you are loved. Hope to hear you back on the air soon!

Gosh, I was sick yesterday and got up today to hear all this awful news. So sad to hear that you are not with us every morning but hoping to 'hear' you again soon...good luck to you both! Keep Springfield posted on where you are and how you're doing - we love ya!

Who sang "I will follow him"? I am sure you both can answer. You are a complete package, not just music, but every faction of life. Leave a trail so we can follow!!! And I will even bring more cookies. Enjoy a well deserved vacation before you take your entourage to the competition.

Brian, I'm sending best wishes. I had to listen to a CD on the way to work. Miss you both already. Kristy Main-Beauchamp

Brian,

This mess is so stupid. I hope you & Kellie come back or land on another radio station. I have already switched to ABEFM. WNNS is not the same without you two. I hope they come to their senses & realize they are cutting off their noses despite their face. You guys are WNNS. You are the backbone of it all. You guys are the best. You were there for the Torando recovery & the Children's Miracle Network. Let us know if you end up somewhere else.

are you really married to kelly? how great... miss you!

This is just another example of political correctness run amuck. You will both be greatly missed. Midwest has made a terrible mistake and they will suffer in the long run. Hang in there!!!!

Brian,

Just heard the news. This is a great loss for Springfield listeners. You and Kelly are the best!

Here's a suggestion: You guys move up to Chicago, rule the morning air waves, and hire me for the weekends.

I'd love working with you guys again!

Best of luck to the both of you!

Brian & Kellie - you two have been such an inspiration to me and have been so much fun over the years. Thank you for all you do for our community. You know me, I'm loyal, and I'll be watching for your new adventures. And Brian, remember to play Donny for me!

Talk about your major clusters. I agree with the political correctness gone amuck comment. It is sad that Midwest allowed a brain-dead hack like JP rob them and Springfield of the most talented radio personalities we have seen in many years. Wherever Brian and Kelly go they will light up the world around them. God bless and good luck.

Don't any of you believe for one moment Brian's blog had anything to do with this. MWF just went temporarily insane. They'll wise up real soon when B & K teach them a lesson on another frequency. You know it's got to happen.

Spread the word that this forum may be the best way to send them your best.

Good luck to you both! My radio stations have been changed, at home & in the car! Let us know when you're back & where!

This is a huge loss for the community in general, and I can't help but think that the Children's Miracle Network will suffer as well. I seriously doubt that MFB will continue to give CMN the fundraising forum they had with the radiothon since the two of you won't be there to do it. I have no doubt, however, that you will continue on your own to do what you can for this incredibly important organization. I don't work for CMN, but I have worked on some of the radiothons with you, and I know that your hearts and your understanding of how important the work of CMN is made a huge difference. Thank you so much for the work you've done on behalf of Rick and all the other kids.

Brian & Kellie ------- This is beyond repugnant, although I know this is the way of the media business. Simply put, it "SUX". WNNS has made a severe political, strategis, and tactical error. I only listened to 'NNS to hear you in the mornings. I then moved to WQQL for the "oldies". Then they went to that horrible "shrink-wrapped" Tom Kent in the evenings. So any evening listeneing goes to the CDs. Look at your past emails for the name and give me a call -- I want to take you both to lunch. Best wishes and good luck to you both!

Brian and Kellie:
I just found this site. Like everyone else here, I really miss you in the morning and at noon and am looking for another station. To me you two were WNNS. With losing the Chief and you two, last week was pretty depressing. And if the article had not been in the State JR, no one would know what had happened to you. I let the station manager know how I felt about your loss. Let us know where you end up and best wishes for the future.

I was shocked when I heard of your firing. I have since been jumping from station to station to find something/somewhere to land for a fix of the "oldies" - so far, nothing as stuck. You both will be missed and WNNS has lost a lot of listeners. I hope to hear soon where you both landed so I can tune in.

I used to start my work day with your show. It's hard to believe that you and Kellie are not on the air. I miss hearing you every morning and I hope that you will be back soon--even if it has to be on a different station.

I really miss you both, I keep hoping I will hear that you both will be back on another station, I can't wait.....I will not listen to WNNS......I have voiced my opinion as to what I think about this to MWFB. The mornings are not the same without you. I am serious when I say that. Please keep us fans informed on your next move!! Thanks
