In the picture and in person, the hair you have in shall we say the vacant area is too short to be a comb over. It's NOT long enough to comb over.
For myself I never ever want to have a comb over so I determined a long time ago, when I started losing my hair I would just SHINE through.

I agree with the others - it's too short to be a comb over and is more of a comb back. Doesn't look bad at all if you keep it short. Stop obsessing - it's all good.
I work with you and think you have nice hair. I say that because you have better hair than me.
You have nothing to worry about. You have a nice head of hair there, of course I can't see it from above. I cut hair, and you do not have a combover.
